AC Milan invite Christopher Nkunku to consider leaving the club

AC Milan have reportedly placed Christopher Nkunku (28) on their list of players invited to leave the club this summer, according to information from Sky Sport.

The forward, along with seven of his team-mates, including Youssouf Fofana (27), Fikayo Tomori (28) and Pervis Estupiñán (28), is reportedly not part of Ruben Amorim’s plans for the coming season.

Having arrived in Lombardy from Chelsea for a fee of €37m last summer, Nkunku is said not to have convinced his new manager to rely on his talents for his Serie A debut. Having made 35 appearances (17 as a starter) across all competitions last season, the Lagny-sur-Marne native proved decisive on 11 occasions, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.

Having played 45 minutes in each of the Rossoneri’s last two friendly matches, against Inter Milan (1-1) and Chelsea (3-0), the Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate made his mark by scoring the equaliser against their Milanese rivals.
