Official | Sadibou Sané completes AS Monaco switch
Sadibou Sané (22) has completed a move from FC Metz to AS Monaco, it was confirmed on Tuesday. The defender has signed a five-year deal with the Principality club.
It has been a busy start to July for Monaco. The club have already announced the arrivals of Nazinho and Mathys Detourbet. The former has joined on a permanent transfer worth €5m from Cercle Brugge, whilst the latter has joined on loan from Manchester City. The arrival of Luis Filipe was also confirmed earlier this week.
The construction of the squad is continuing apace with the arrival of Sané from Metz, who were relegated from Ligue 1 last season. Since joining Les Grenats from Génération Foot back in 2023, the centre-back has made 71 appearances. Last season, as Metz were relegated back to Ligue 2, he made 24 appearances in all competitions.
His deal with Monaco will run until the summer of 2031.
