Manchester City youngster set to join Go Ahead Eagles
De Stentor is reporting that Go Ahead Eagles are closing in on signing Manchester City left back Tomas Galvez on a permanent deal. The Manchester City youngster has spent time on loan in the Dutch second tier with Cambuur but now looks set to leave the club to join Go Ahead Eagles. Galvez will replace Aske Adelgaard, who was sold to FC Twente this summer. Galvez leaves Manchester City without having made a senior appearance for the side.
Galvez, who is eligible to represent both England and Finland, has spent time on loan with LASK and Cambuur during his time with Manchester City. The 21-year-old was in fine form for Cambuur as they won promotion to the Eredivisie last season. The soon to be former Manchester City defender played 37 games for the side, providing four assists. Galvez had been on loan with Cambuur for the second half of the 2024/2025 season as well.
