Official | Issa Soumaré joins Rennes
Stade Rennais will make a return to European football next season and they are already working on adding depth to their side ahead of the campaign.
The Breton club have just confirmed their first signing of the summer in the form of Issa Soumaré (25). The Senegal youth international has signed a four-year deal with Rennes.
Soumaré joined Le Havre AC back in 2023 and had established himself as the leader of their attack. Last season was his most prolific for Les Ciel et Marines. The forward netted eight goals and registered a further four assists.
However, there was uncertainty regarding his future with Le HAC. His deal was up at the end of the season. Soumaré ultimately opted against renewing his deal with the Normand club, instead making the switch to Rennes.
At Roazhon Park, he will play UEFA Europa League football for the first time in his career.
