New Zealand international Ben Old is a doubt to face OGC Nice in the first leg of AS Saint-Étienne’s Ligue 1 relegation playoff. 

Speaking ahead of the match, Philippe Montanier confirmed that Old is suffering from a hamstring issue, which makes him a doubt for the game. L’Équipe, however, believe that he will feature and in fact start on the left of the defence for Saint-Étienne. Montanier added that the decision on Old’s participation would be made at the last minute.

Les Verts are also without Djylian N’Guessan. Montanier confirms, however, he will be able to count on the returning Florian Tardieu, even if he will not be fit to play a full 90 at the Chaudron this evening. He is therefore not expected to start.
