Real Sociedad are reported to have made an offer to Toulouse FC in a bid to sign Emersonn (21), according to Foot Mercato.

Whilst the Brazilian remains under contract with Les Violets until 2029, the Basque club is said to be offering €14 million, including bonuses, to buy out the remaining three years of the striker’s contract. This sum falls far short of Toulouse’s expectations, as they are reportedly demanding €25 million to agree to part ways with the 21-year-old.

Having joined from Götzepe last summer for a fee of €3.2 million, Emersonn has settled in well to Ligue 1. Starting in 18 of his 27 appearances this season, the player who came through the ranks at Athletico Paranaense has found the net six times, including against Olympique de Marseille, Olympique Lyonnais and AS Monaco, and has provided two assists.

A former Brazilian Under-16 international, he has not, however, been called up by Carlo Ancelotti for the upcoming World Cup and will therefore have to wait for his first call-up to the Canarinha.
