Former Paris Saint-Germain defender Joane Gadou (19) is set to join Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season, as per reports from L’Équipe and Le Parisien.

Gadou left formative club PSG back in 2024 without having made a single appearance for the senior side. Despite not making the breakthrough, he was very highly rated. He convinced Red Bull Salzburg to spend €10m to acquire his services. 

The centre-back has already made 33 appearances for RB Salzburg this season, including seven in the UEFA Europa League. But his time with the Austrian side is nearing an end, as per reports from L’Équipe and Le Parisien.

They understand that an agreement in principle has been reached between RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund. The latter are currently second in the Bundesliga and guaranteed to participate in next season’s UEFA Champions League. 

The deal, should it be completed, will be worth €20m, without bonuses.
