Toulouse reject Wolfsburg’s latest Charlie Cresswell bid
Toulouse FC have turned down Wolfsburg’s latest bid for Charlie Cresswell (23), according to a report from The Athletic.
Wolfsburg are intent on signing the England youth international this month. They initially went in at €18m, before upping their bid to €20m. Their latest offer, The Athletic understands, is worth €23m, however, this has once again been rejected by the Ligue 1 club, who are holding out for a fee in excess of €30m.
The Englishman, who joined Le TéFéCé from formative club Leeds United back in 2024, has excelled in France and is being heavily linked with an exit this month. It comes after attempts from West Ham United last summer to prise the centre-back away from the French club. It is thought that the Premier League side, at risk of relegation this season, retain their interest in Cresswell, who has played every minute of Toulouse’s Ligue 1 campaign.
