Official | Nottingham Forest’s Arnaud Kalimuendo joins Eintracht Frankfurt on loan

Nottingham Forest centre-forward Arnaud Kalimuendo (23) has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan for the remainder of the season, both clubs have announced. The Bundesliga side has included an option to make Kalimuendo’s move permanent. The Frenchman signed for Nottingham Forest last summer for €35m, but he barely made his mark in the Midlands. Kalimuendo only logged two goals in 14 appearances for the Tricky Trees in all competitions.

Kalimuendo’s purchase option is reportedly set at €30m. Eintracht Frankfurt were in the market for a centre-forward after parting ways with Elye Wahi. The former Marseille striker joined Nice on loan last week. Kalimuendo will wear the No. 25 jersey for Die Adler. In Frankfurt, he will reunite with one of his former Rennes teammates, Belgian international centre-back Arthur Theate.
