Paris FC show strong interest in Wolves’ Marshall Munetsi
As initially reported by L’Équipe, Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Marshall Munetsi (29) could make a return to Ligue 1 this January, just one year after his departure from Stade de Reims.
Interest in the midfielder is growing with the transfer window set to open on 1st January. Munetsi left Reims after six years to join Wolves back in February. Despite initially carving out a place for himself in the side, his minutes have been severely limited since the managerial change at Molineux. A regular under Vitor Pereira, his limited role under Rob Edwards could see him leave in January and potentially move back to France; the midfielder has not been included in Wolves’ last five Premier League matchday squads.
OGC Nice has been touted as a potential destination for the Zimbabwe international, but according to a report from Foot Mercato, Paris FC are now very interested in the midfielder. FC Nantes are also in the race.
