Chelsea, Manchester United handed hope in Mouhamed Dabo chase
Chelsea and Manchester United have been handed fresh encouragement in their pursuit of midfield sensation Mouhamed Dabo.
According to a report from AfricaFoot, Mouhamed Dabo could be heading to the Premier League, as Manchester United and Chelsea handed fresh hope in their pursuit of the Senegalese midfielder.
Dabo looks set to join a big European club
The 17-year-old midfielder has made quite a name for himself with his impressive performances for the Academy and the Senegalese youth teams. His work for both club and country hasn’t gone unnoticed, as the biggest clubs in Europe are now keen on signing him.
While he prefers playing as a central midfielder, he is equally effective in a holding role. The teenager has all the qualities needed to succeed at the highest level, and given his massive potential, Chelsea and Manchester United want to add him to their squad as soon as possible.
Reports suggested that NK Kustosija, a third-division club based in Zagreb, had reached an agreement with Be Sport Academy to sign the youngster. However, the Senegalese outfit has denied any official confirmation. It is believed that the player didn’t put pen to paper on his potential move to Croatia.
Dabo to move to the Premier League?
His decision is a massive boost for the Blues and the Red Devils, who are keen on signing him. Both clubs could soon make a move to bring him to the Premier League. He has already undergone trials at the London club, and they have renewed their interest in trying to secure his services.
He is considered a perfect fit for their project, which revolves around signing the best young players. Meanwhile, Manchester United have also been closely monitoring the 17-year-old. They maintain a concrete interest in the Senegalese youth international, and could rival Chelsea in the race for his signature.
