Juventus set to demand €100 million for Kenan Yildiz as contract talks stalled
Juventus are reportedly set to demand at least €100 million or more for top talent Kenan Yildiz amid stalled talks over a new deal.
According to Caught Offside, Juventus’s contract talks for Kenan Yildiz have hit a wall, which could force the Italian giants to consider a sale. The Bianconeri are reportedly set to demand at least €100 million for the Turkish international amid big interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Kenan Yildiz is currently one of the sought-after attacking talents in Europe, who continues to attract the interest of some of the big teams around. The Serie A sensation has produced many notable performances with Juventus, which has seen his market value skyrocket, while his ability to play versatile roles in the attacking third makes him an attractive prospect.
Clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea are keen, as both those London giants will be looking for an attacker with Yildiz’s quality. The Gunners still feel there’s room to add a left-sided attacker with goalscoring prowess, as the Serie A sensation fits the equation.
Chelsea had also planned to spend big on Yildiz, as the Juventus star perfectly fits into their transfer policy of buying young. In Yildiz’s case, he’s at the right age for the Blues as well as represents top-tier investment for the longer-term project.
Real Madrid are also keen on Yildiz, as they continue to evaluate the market for a top attacking talent for the long-term future. There are some doubts over Vinicius Junior’s future beyond next summer, which could even see the Spanish giants consider the Serie A sensation as a direct replacement of sorts for the Brazilian.
Juventus set a €100 million asking price
Yildiz is yet to agree on a new deal with Juventus, with the two parties engaging in talks for quite a considerable period. However, those discussions have hit a snag with the report stating the Serie A sensation’s 6 million a year salary demand being the biggest factor forcing the Bianconeri to pause talks.
The Serie A giants are now open to a sale, if serious suitors can fork out €100 million or more for Yildiz. The Turkish international has a contract until 2029, which does give the Bianconeri the leeway in extracting a top fee for their biggest asset. It remains to be seen if any of those clubs, like Arsenal, Chelsea or Real Madrid, are serious enough to fork out the €100 million or more needed to prise the attacker away from Turin.
