Lamine Camara returns to Monaco first-team training
Lamine Camara (21) is back in first-team training for AS Monaco, having missed around six weeks with an ankle sprain.
Camara sustained the injury in training, ahead of Monaco’s UEFA Champions League match against Manchester City, which ended in a 2-2 draw on 1st October. The Senegal international had been wearing a protective boot on the ankle, but he is now nearing a return.
He participated in Friday afternoon’s training session in La Turbie, attended by Get French Football News. Camara didn’t complete the training session, however, as he moved away from the group after the warm-up exercises in order to continue his own individual session.
Camara qui a donné l’impression de vouloir continuer la séance avec ses coéquipiers mais qui continue individuellement, idem pour Diatta. Mawissa qui fait aussi quelques tours du terrain. Une belle intensité à l’entraînement cet après-midi. #ASMonaco

Camara’s return to action is expected the other side of the international break. He will not be part of the group to face RC Lens on Saturday. Denis Zakaria also participated in the session, as did Lukas Hradecky and Eric Dier, all of whom are returning from injuries. They could be in contention to face Les Sang et Or this weekend.
Paul Pogba, who sustained an ankle sprain last week, was not involved.
