Tottenham learn conditions of Dusan Vlahovic transfer
Tottenham Hotspur can sign Juventus’ attacking mainstays Dusan Vlahovic if they are willing to meet two of his demands.
Dusan Vlahovic’s future has been a massive talking point for some time now. The Serbian international has constantly been linked with a move away. While nothing concrete has happened thus far, he can certainly end up leaving the club at the end of the season with his contract running out.
The 25-year-old striker can choose to extend his stay at the Serie A club. However, that depends on a lot of factors like his relationship with the new manager, Luciano Spalletti and more importantly, his financial demands. Meanwhile, Tottenham have emerged as a potential destination if he decides to run down his deal and leave for free next summer.
According to Corriere dello Sport via SportWitness, Vlahovic has already made his demands quite clear; the Serbian striker wants a top salary and signing-on bonus, whether it comes from Juventus or an interested club like Tottenham won’t make that big of a difference.
Vlahovic could leave Juventus in 2026
The 25-year-old has had his ups and downs at the Turin-based club. While it seemed he had lost prominence in the team towards the end of last season, Vlahovic is once again a key part of their plans, and he could be the preferred choice in goal under Spalletti.
Despite that, the Serbian striker’s future is up in the air, as his contract runs out at the end of the season. Juventus are willing to offer him a new deal, but they want him to lower his wage demands. It certainly looks unlikely, as he is heading into his prime and there is no shortage of interest in him.
Tottenham know what needs to be done
He looks set to leave Juventus as a free agent next summer, and Tottenham could look to make the most out of it. With Dominic Solanke failing to make a mark at the North London club because of injuries, Thomas Frank wants a world-class striker, and Vlahovic certainly fits the bill.
Spurs are already aware of what needs to be done to sign the Serbian forward. They will have to offer him a significant financial package and a signing-on bonus to convince him.
