Lyon predicted XI v Real Betis: Paulo Fonseca to heavily rotate
The Olympique Lyonnais side that face Real Betis this evening will be very different to the one that drew 0-0 against Stade Brestois over the weekend.
Lyon travel to Spain tonight as they look to continue their UEFA Europa League campaign with a win. However, they will do so with a second-string side. Paulo Fonseca, ahead of Sunday’s game against Paris Saint-Germain, is keen to rest key elements of his squad.
As a result, captain Corentin Tolisso won’t be used at all. He won’t even be included in the squad. Then there is Hans Hateboer and Rachid Ghezzal, both of whom are ineligible to play in the UEL. Malick Fofana and Ernest Nuamah remain sidelined, and Tyler Morton, so important for Les Gones, is set to be benched.
Lyon likely line-up v Real Betis
Dominik Greif; Abner, Moussa Niakhaté, Ruben Kluivert, Ainsley Maitland-Niles; Mathys De Carvalho, Tanner Tessmann; Enzo Molebe, Khalis Merah, Adam Karabec; Martín Satriano. (L’Éq)
