Nantes’ Tylel Tati attracting interest from elite clubs

After Nathan Zézé last year, there is another young FC Nantes centre-back who is attracting widespread interest.

Ultimately, Zézé, a France youth international, was one of several promising prospects to make the surprise move to Saudi Arabia. However, their latest product, Tylel Tati (17), is attracting interest from across Europe, according to a report from Florian Plettenberg.

Tati’s breakthrough came in the wake of Zézé’s departure for the Gulf State over the summer. He has quickly become an important player under Luís Castro. This season, he has already made nine appearances for his formative club, as at the age of just 17, he accumulates experience in the top-flight.

As per Plettenberg, Tati is attracting interest from many top clubs across Europe and is a player to keep an eye on across the next two transfer windows. The left-footed centre-back is considered a top talent. However, he may be difficult to prise away, given that his contract runs until 2028, and given Nantes’ reluctance to sell in recent weeks and months.
