Manchester United ponder winter loan move for Jobe Bellingham

Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United are considering a winter loan move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham.

Manchester United have been in fine form in recent weeks. They have climbed up to fourth on the points table with three consecutive wins in the Premier League. While things have finally started to click for Ruben Amorim’s team, the Portuguese manager is still keen on adding more quality to his squad mid-season.

He wants to further strengthen his midfield rotation in January, and according to a report from the Daily Express, the Red Devils have their eyes set on Jobe Bellingham. The 20-year-old English midfielder has struggled to settle at Borussia Dortmund, and Manchester United are considering signing him on loan when the transfer window reopens.

Bellingham’s struggle at Borussia Dortmund

After making a name for himself at Sunderland, Jobe Bellingham joined the Bundesliga giants in the summer in a deal worth £25 million. However, the move has not really worked out for him as he has only started two league games for Niko Kovac.

More importantly, the relationship between both parties is a bit tense after his father, Mark, confronted Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, after the young midfielder was taken off at half-time on his debut. His father has been banned from entering the dressing room area following the incident.

With Bellingham struggling to gain regular minutes and the relationship between the two parties not that great, his long-term future at Borussia Dortmund has become a big talking point. The 20-year-old could end up leaving Germany to return to England in January, on a temporary basis.

Manchester United are plotting a raid on Borussia Dortmund for Jobe Bellingham

Manchester United have emerged as a potential destination for the youngster. The Red Devils are long-term admirers of the 20-year-old, and they are looking to pounce on an opportunity to bring him to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are closely monitoring his situation, and they are considering signing the Englishman on loan in January. With Ruben Amorim seeking more options in the centre of the park, United feel the versatile English youth international could help their cause.

While the Red Devils are keen on his signature, it remains to be seen if Bellingham is ready to make a move or wants to continue at Borussia Dortmund in the hope that things will improve.
