Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee has been linked with a move away from the Premier League club in recent weeks.

Joshua Zirkzee has struggled for regular opportunities at Old Trafford and he needs to leave the club in order to play regularly. According to Ekrem Konur, the player will submit a transfer request to Manchester United so that he can leave the club.

It will be interesting to see if any club is willing to provide him with an exit route in January. Manchester United have signed Benjamin Sesko and the Slovenian is the first-choice striker at the club right now.

The Netherlands international will not get regular opportunities until the end of the season.

He is in desperate need of game time, especially with the World Cup coming up. Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman has already made it clear that the player will need more game time if he wants to be a part of the Netherlands squad for the upcoming World Cup.

Zirkzee will not want to miss out on the mega event next summer and it remains to be seen whether he can secure a move away from Manchester United.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils will have to decide if they are willing to let him leave in the middle of the season. They are lacking in depth in the striking department. Even though the Netherlands international is not a key player for them, he could still be a very useful option during the second half of the season.
