PSG predicted XI v Brest: Ousmane Dembélé set to start

Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé is set to make his long-awaited return in Paris Saint-Germain’s starting XI. The Champions League winners come up against Brest for Ligue 1’s Matchday 9 later in the evening. Luis Enrique’s side is firing on all cylinders in the Champions League, as shown by their dominant 7-2 away win to Bayer Leverkusen, but they have hit a slump in Ligue 1. PSG have fallen to second place on the back of consecutive draws against Lille and Strasbourg.

Luis Enrique is expected to field a strong side against Eric Roy’s Ty-Zefs. RMC Sport reports that Illia Zabarnyi could be benched following his disastrous performance against Die Werkself. Lucas Beraldo is set to be partnered with Willian Pacho. Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes will feature as full-backs. In the absence of João Neves and Fabian Ruiz, Lee Kang-in is set to make his return in Luis Enrique’s plans.

Up front, Khvicha Kvaratskelia and Bradley Barcola will retain their winger spots and Ousmane Dembélé is set to make his first start since last month with PSG. The Ballon d’Or winner was on target for his return against Bayer Leverkusen.
