Marseille predicted XI v Lens: Robinio Vaz to start over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang?

With Amine Gouiri out for a couple of months with a shoulder injury, Olympique de Marseille’s striker options are somewhat limited. It means that there will have to be some rotation in this sector and more opportunities for academy product Robinio Vaz.

It was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who started in the 2-1 defeat to Sporting CP in midweek, but L’Équipe understands that it will be Vaz who leads the line against RC Lens this evening. There are no returnees for Marseille, who also remain without Geoffrey Kondogbia, Facundo Medina, and Hamed Junior Traoré; the latter’s return is close and could come next week, Roberto De Zerbi revealed in his pre-match press conference. Angel Gomes may have to settle for a place on the bench this evening.
