Official | Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos make PSG return
Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos have returned to the Paris Saint-Germain squad following a period of absence.
Dembélé has not featured for PSG since suffering a hamstring injury while on international duty with France at the start of September. The former Barcelona winger has since won the Ballon d’Or, and the reigning UEFA Champions League champions have been cautious in bringing him back into the fold. Le Parisien understands, however, that he is unlikely to start.
However, he has now been included in PSG’s matchday squad to face Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday. Club captain Marquinhos, who himself has been absent with an injury in recent weeks, also returns to the fold. He too has been included in the matchday squad.
Whilst there are two big-name returnees, two important midfielders, Joao Neves and Fabián Ruiz, remain out for Les Parisiens as they look to make it three wins on the bounce in this season’s UCL ‘League Phase’.
