Fulham in transfer tussle to sign Enzo Boyomo
Fulham are angling for a move for Enzo Boyomo ahead of January, with two other Premier League clubs interested in the Osasuna defender.
According to Fichajes, Enzo Boyomo is emerging as a big target for Fulham ahead of the January window. Marco Silva’s side may look at the Osasuna defender as a viable option to improve their defensive setup, with Nottingham Forest and Brighton also interested in the player with a €25 million release clause.
Osasuna did well to get their hands on Enzo Boyomo in the summer of 2024 from Real Valladolid, and so far, the defender has become one of the mainstays in their squad. The Spanish side are protected by a contract with the player until 2029 with a release clause worth 25 million.
The Spanish side are widely expected to demand the entire clause or at least its full value from suitors who are interested in signing him. Osasuna views him as a key first-team player, but there are those from the Premier League who would want to make a strategic investment in the defender for the present and the future.
Fulham are one of those interested in the defender, and could be willing to pay what’s necessary to sign the €25 million-rated La Liga defender. Marco Silva’s side have a good enough defence at the moment, but the Cottagers are a club that could look to keep improving their squad with good market opportunities.
However, there are no credible claims that Fulham will pay the entire release clause, as there’s every chance for them to negotiate with Osasuna. The Spanish side are currently in a strong position when it comes to the future of the €25 million-rated La Liga defender, but there’s a possibility of getting a deal done.
Brighton and Nottingham Forest are interested in Enzo Boyomo
Nottingham Forest are also looking at Boyomo as a potential option for their present and future. The Tricky Trees are currently going through a rough patch with their results and the managerial situation, but that may not halt their ideas in the transfer market moving forward.
Meanwhile, Brighton are also interested in the defender, as they are a club that always looks for talents that add value to their model. Boyomo can help the Seagulls currently and in the near future, as his good performances could also provide the club with the opportunity to cash in on a higher price in the future.
