Official | Aladji Bamba extends Monaco deal

Aladji Bamba (19) has extended his contract at AS Monaco. The Frenchman’s previous deal had been set to expire in 2027.

Bamba was one of three Monaco players, alongside Joan Tincres and Dan Sinaté, to sign his first professional contract in February 2024. He signed a three-year deal with his formative club and this season made his breakthrough into the first team. With Soungoutou Magassa leaving, with Paul Pogba not yet up to speed, and with an injury crisis in midfield, Bamba was given the chance to step up, featuring in Ligue 1 and in the UEFA Champions League before succumbing to a minor injury.

However, the France U20 international returned to first-team training during the international break and is in contention to return against SCO Angers on Saturday. Bamba will look to make an impact upon his return for the Principality club, and he will look to do so with a sign of trust from the club’s management. His new deal runs until 2030.
