Juventus eyeing Andrey Santos swoop, price tag revealed
Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly rekindled their move for 21-year-old Brazilian international Andrey Santos, with Chelsea demanding around €35 million to sell him.
According to a report by Italian outlet Juve Live, Andrey Santos is the subject of interest from Juventus. The Serie A giants are keen on reinforcing their first-team squad by signing a versatile midfielder next year. So, the 21-year-old Chelsea prospect has emerged as a target for the Bianconeri. Meanwhile, the West London club will demand around €35 million to part ways with the young midfielder.
Andrey Santos and his time at Chelsea so far
Andrey Santos has endured a stop-start spell since joining Chelsea from Vasco da Gama in January 2023. However, the South American midfielder was away from the West London club in his first two years after arriving from his homeland, embarking on loan spells with Vasco da Gama, Nottingham Forest, and RC Strasbourg.
However, the 21-year-old has finally started playing for Chelsea this season, representing the West London outfit at the FIFA Club World Cup before making his mark in the first few weeks of the 2025/26 season. However, regular game time has eluded Santos, as he has managed only 283 minutes of game time in seven outings thus far.
Meanwhile, Santos’s progress in the last few years has not gone unnoticed, and despite his game-time struggles with Chelsea this season, several high-profile clubs are keen on signing him. Juventus will be among the prospective suitors vying for the Brazilian midfielder’s signature in the winter transfer window.
Serie A move on the horizon?
Juventus wanted to sign Andrey Santos in the summer transfer window, but the deal did not materialise. The continued interest makes sense, as Manuel Locatelli and Teun Koopmeiners face an uncertain future at the Allianz Stadium. Interestingly, the former is a target for Chelsea, and replacing him with Santos will be ideal.
Despite his struggles to become a regular for Chelsea, Santos has been a target for several clubs, and that has continued with Juventus showing interest in him. Meanwhile, the West London outfit will demand around €35 million to part ways with the South American midfielder in the winter transfer window.
However, selling the 21-year-old Brazilian international may be a mistake, considering his potential. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see if Juventus will pay €35 million to sign Santos from Chelsea in the winter transfer window.
