Barcelona handed massive boost for Girona clash

La Liga giants Barcelona are set to be boosted by the return of a key member of the club’a attacking ranks for their next outing.

That’s according to Diario AS, who point to Lamine Yamal as the player in question.

Wide-man Lamine has of course been condemned to a spell on the sidelines since earlier this month.

This comes after the 18-year-old suffered a relapse of a muscular problem picked up whilst on international duty with Spain.

Lamine, in turn, was forced to sit out Barcelona’s 4-1 La Liga drubbing at the hands of Sevilla, as well as the October international break.

Recent reports had suggested that Lamine was also unlikely to be cleared to feature in the Blaugrana’s post-international break return to the pitch, against Girona.

If the latest update on the situation to have surfaced on Sunday is anything to go by, though, then the chances of as much appear to be increasing by the day.

As per a report from AS:

‘As of today, barring any setbacks, the Blaugrana forward will be discharged next Saturday in order to play a few minutes against Girona.’
