Tottenham rival Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United in Angelo Stiller chase
Tottenham are ready to enter the race for Angelo Stiller, with a host of other Premier League rivals alongside Real Madrid chasing the midfielder.
According to Fichajes, Tottenham are the latest to enter the race for Angelo Stiller, with the German midfielder coming for high demand ahead of future windows. VfB Stuttgart are in a strong position to relinquish the release clause in his contract, which could see them extract the best value in the market in light of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Real Madrid all chasing the midfielder.
Angelo Stiller has a new suitor in the form of Tottenham, with the North Londoners now joining a host of other rivals in the chase. Spurs have a case to make, especially if they can consistently maintain their presence in the UEFA Champions League in future seasons.
Tottenham are eager to build a strong foundation for new manager Thomas Frank, who did sign Joao Palhinha in the summer as a midfield reinforcement. However, someone like Stiller could be viewed as a long-term option to hold fort in that midfield role, but Spurs must compete with top clubs for the midfielder.
Incidentally, Angelo Stiller was widely expected to leave VfB Stuttgart, with Real Madrid the early suitor and probably the favourite then. Surprisingly, the move never materialised, although the Spanish giants, alongside Arsenal and Liverpool, are still interested.
The Gunners and Liverpool are always looking for top players in the market to keep improving their respective squads, as the 24-year-old Bundesliga midfielder is one among those. Manchester United are also keen, with Stiller reportedly snubbing a late approach from the Red Devils around the summer deadline.
VfB Stuttgart are in a strong position with Angelo Stiller
Despite the mounting interest in the 24-year-old midfielder, VfB Stuttgart are in a strong position with the midfielder’s future. For instance, he has a reported €40 million release clause, which the club can buy out with a €2 million fee, which does give them total power in negotiations.
Angelo Stiller has a contract until 2028, which will ensure Stuttgart gets the best value for the 24-year-old midfielder when they eventually end up selling him. The likes of Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool may not have a problem paying a good price when the next window opens.
