Official | Strasbourg complete Stefan Bajic signing
Stefan Bajic (23) has joined RC Strasbourg Alsace, following a trial period with the club over the summer.
The former France youth international joined EFL Championship side Bristol City back in 2023 but left the club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of last season. A free agent, he was then on the search for a new club. BlueCo side Strasbourg showed an interest in the shotstopper and took him on board for a trial period.
That trial period began at the end of June. He was also at Strasbourg’s pre-season training camp in Austria. As Les Alsaciens prepare to get their Ligue 1 season underway against FC Metz on Sunday, they have now opted to sign Bajic, the club have confirmed.
The former Bristol City goalkeeper has signed a one-year deal with Strasbourg. He will provide back-up for No.1 goalkeeper Mike Penders, who has joined from Chelsea on loan.
