Vinicius Junior has secret talks with Manchester City, considering Real Madrid exit amid Arsenal, Chelsea links

Vinicius Junior has reportedly held ‘secret’ talks with Manchester City over a potential move, with other Premier League sides also keen.

According to Indy Kaila News, Manchester City are being linked with a surprise move for Vinicius Junior. The Brazilian internationla has held ‘secret’ talks with Pep Guardiola’s side over a move to the Etihad, but there are significant doubts whether this will materialise, while there are Premier League sides keen.

If this window could be deemed the most complicated one ever, things got spicier as Manchester City are now linked with Vinicius Junior. The Brazilian attacker has been in the news of late, as some rumours have indicated that he may leave next year after the World Cup.

While those rumors are unconfirmed, the latest update on the 25-year-old Real Madrid star has caused some level of concern for the Bernabeu faithful. It appears Vinicius has held ‘secret’ talks with Manchester City over a move, and there seems like a possibility he could make the move either this summer or next.

Manchester City have loaned Jack Grealish to Everton and and may sell Savinho to Tottenham Hotspur, and Pep Guardiola might seek a new explosive attacker for his side. They have been linked with Rodrygo Goes, but one might suspect that if Vinicius Junior becomes available, they might go for Rodrygo’s compatriot.

It appears Arsenal and Chelsea are also monitoring his situation, and they too could be part of the chase for the 25-year-old Real Madrid star. While Arsenal and Chelsea want a wide attacker and can offer him the lure of London, Manchester City have the financial superiority over those teams and certainly the ability to bring such a huge star to the Etihad.

Vinicius Junior unlikely to leave Real Madrid

Real Madrid have been uninterested in selling Vinicius, and they are now unlikely to entertain any offers. Florentino Perez will put up a fight to keep hold of his most important player alongside Kylian Mbappe, to keep the ship together for the future.

While Manchester City might have serious financial power to make such a move happen, the realistic chances of anyone, barring maybe a Saudi Arabian side signing Vinicius Junior, are remote to none. As for Manchester City, Vinicius is also concerned about the 115 charges, but that may not be the factor in him not moving to the Etihad even if he could think about a move to the Premier League.
