PSG plotting big money move for Enzo Fernandez

PSG are reportedly plotting a huge raid on Chelsea for the signing of midfielder Enzo Fernandez, with a €150 million offer mooted.

According to Fichajes, PSG are rumoured to be interested in making a move for Enzo Fernandez this summer. The report states that Luis Enrique wants the Chelsea midfielder as a potential replacement for Fabian Ruiz, with the Parisians preparing a €150 million offer to test the Blues.

PSG are yet to make headlines this summer, as it was widely expected that the European champions would make a splash in the transfer window. Luis Enrique is prioritising keeping hold of his current stars who have done exceptionally well over the last season, although the club might end up losing key man Gianluigi Donnarumma in this window.

There are some further concerns as per the report, which states Fabian Ruiz could depart. The midfielder was previously linked with Manchester United, but overall, there are no clear indications that he could depart. However, in the scenario that the Spaniard leaves, Enrique has his preferred replacement in mind.

Enrique wants PSG to bring Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea, with the report stating the club are prepared to make a €150 million offer. The proposal is rumoured to be split with €125 million in fixed fee, with the other €25 million in variables, which seemingly meets what the Blues want if they were to sell.

Ferandez offers the kind of profile that Enrique would desire in the event of Ruiz’s departure. While they are rumoured to want to make a big attempt to test the waters with Chelsea for the 24-year-old key star. However, there’s no clarity on whether the Premier League giants even want to consider the prospect of letting the attacker leave.

Enzo Fernandez is unlikely to leave Chelsea

Fernandez was earlier linked with Real Madrid, with some outlets from Spain then claiming he was open to the move. However, the Argentine is not pushing to leave Chelsea, where he seems settled after a difficult start to life since making the big switch from Benfica.

Fabrizio Romano has addressed the PSG rumours and claimed that Chelsea are unlikely to entertain any possibility of an exit. The Italian transfer expert claimed there were no talks or bids with regards to PSG, and Chelsea are likely to keep hold of the 24-year-old key star.
