There is no doubt that he has been a key player for Brighton, and he has established himself as a reliable performer in the Premier League. He has the quality to play for a bigger club, and a move to Liverpool or Tottenham could be attractive for him. They are among the biggest clubs in the country, and they could offer him European football for the upcoming campaign. He will be able to fight for trophies with them as well. It will be interesting to see if the Netherlands international has his head turned by the interest from top clubs. Liverpool and Tottenham need defensive quality

Liverpool need another central defender at their disposal, and the 25-year-old would be a quality addition. Joe Gomez has struggled with persistent injury problems, and they have sanctioned the departure of Jarell Quansah. Ibrahima Konate will be out of contract in the summer, and therefore Liverpool need a quality central defender right now. The 25-year-old certainly fits the profile.
