West Ham United line up €40 million move to sign Youssef En-Nesyri
West Ham United will reportedly look to sign 28-year-old Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri from Turkish club Fenerbahce in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Youssef En-Nesyri is the subject of interest from West Ham United. The Hammers are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a striker in the summer transfer window. So, the 28-year-old Fenerbahce centre-forward has emerged as a target for the East London club.
West Ham will likely present a bid worth €40 million to sign the Fez native in the summer transfer window, and Fenerbahce may find the proposal “hard to refuse” amid the Turkish outfit’s desire to keep him at the club for another campaign.
Youssef En-Nesyri and a productive Turkish adventure
Youssef En-Nesyri has established himself as one of the best players in the Turkish Super Lig since joining Fenerbahce from Sevilla last summer. The 28-year-old was one of the best strikers in La Liga during his spell with the Andalusian outfit, and he hit the ground running as soon as his spell with the Yellow Canaries began.
The Moroccan international contributed to 37 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions by finding the back of the net 30 times and providing seven assists. Meanwhile, En-Nesyri’s exploits have not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs, particularly from the Premier League. West Ham United will be among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the summer transfer window.
London calling?
Youssef En-Nesyri has been on West Ham United’s radar for a long time. The Hammers are eager to sign a striker in the summer transfer window after Niclas Fullkrug and Evan Ferguson failed to make their mark in the 2024/25 season. The latter returned to Brighton & Hove Albion after an underwhelming loan spell before completing another temporary move to AS Roma.
Several strikers, including Alexander Sorloth, have emerged on West Ham’s radar, with En-Nesyri also emerging as a viable target. The Hammers are ready to intensify their efforts to sign the former Sevilla striker, as they are formulating a bid worth €40 million to secure his services.
A proposal worth €40 million may be enough to convince Fenerbahce to part ways with En-Nesyri. So, a summer move to the Premier League may be on the cards for the 28-year-old Moroccan international.
