Alejandro Garnacho has agreed on personal terms with Chelsea, as Manchester United are seeking a higher bid to sell the Argentine.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Alejandro Granacho has an agreement on personal terms with Chelsea ahead of a potential move to Stamford Bridge. Manchester United are seeking higher fees than the Blues are willing to pay at the moment, with the two clubs likely to reach a compromise on the Argentine attacker.

Alejandro Garnacho continued to inch closer to joining Chelsea, as talks have advanced between the Londoners and Manchester United. There’s plenty of work to be done in the background, although the signs indicate the Argentine will play his football at Stamford Bridge next season.

Chelsea had been expected to submit an offer to Manchester United, as they may have indicated the figures they are willing to pay during talks in the background. The Blues are willing to fork out £40 million to sign the Argentine international, although, as per Football Insider, the Red Devils want more.

Manchester United want Chelsea to pay £50 million for Garnacho, which is £10 million more than what the Blues are willing to fork out at the moment. The two clubs are set to meet in the middle and come to a compromise, as Garnacho does not have a future at Old Trafford under Ruben Amorim.

Chelsea have stepped up talks over the last few days, with the move widely expected to be wrapped up next week. By that period, the Blues are hoping to bring Garnacho and Xavi Simons as their next signings, as Enzo Maresca will have a formidable attacking setup to choose from for the upcoming season.

Alejandro Garnacho agrees on personal terms

Fabrizio Romano stated that Garnacho has agreed to every detail of Chelsea’s contract offer, as personal terms are in place ahead of the move to Stamford Bridge. The Argentine had been open to joining the Blues for some time now, as he was reportedly only interested in a switch to Stamford Bridge or staying at Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old Manchester United whizkid did have many other clubs angling for his signature; however, he had made it clear in the background that Chelsea were his preferred destination. The interest had been relevant since January, as the two clubs are hopeful of thrashing out a deal in the coming days.
