Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Juventus outcast Dusan Vlahovic.

Dusan Vlahovic’s future has been a big talking point since the start of the transfer window. While Juventus, as well as his representatives, have been working hard to find him a new club, things haven’t gone according to plan for them.

According to a report from TuttoSport, Vlahovic has now been offered to Manchester United by intermediaries. While the Red Devils are on the lookout for a new number, they are not keen on signing the Juventus striker and have turned down the opportunity.

Vlahovic made a name for himself while playing for Fiorentina. On the back of his impressive rise and massive potential, the Old Lady forked out a significant fee to sign him at the start of 2022. While he has done a decent job since moving to Turin, the 25-year-old hasn’t really lived up to the expectations.

The Italian giants were hoping he could turn things around during the 2024/25 season. While he did find the back of the net on 17 occasions last season, the Italian giants aren’t pleased with his overall output.

With his contract running out in 12 months and the Serbian not willing to take a pay cut to pen a new deal, Juventus have been actively looking to find him a new club. Vlahovic’s representatives have also been working on securing a move away.

United turn down the opportunity to sign Vlahovic

While multiple top clubs have been linked with the 25-year-old striker, nothing concrete has happened thus far. As a result, intermediaries recently offered their services to Manchester United. Ruben Amorim is on the lookout for a new number nine as he wasn’t pleased with Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund’s performances.

He wants a proven goal scorer to lead his line. While Vlahovic’s representatives were hoping for a positive response from Old Trafford, United have turned down the opportunity. They do not want to take a risk on the Serbian, who has been quite inconsistent during his time in Turin.

They are looking to play it safe by betting on someone like Benjamin Sesko. They will only consider the Vlahovic option if they fail to land their priority targets.
