Borussia Dortmund want to sign Tyrique George from Chelsea

German giants Borussia Dortmund are keen on acquiring the services of Chelsea attacking sensation Tyrique George.

According to a report from TBR, Borussia Dortmund have entered the race for the signature of Tyrique George. The German giants are in talks with Chelsea to sign the teenage attacking sensation, who is eager to have regular first-team action next season.

George has been a part of the London club’s setup since his childhood days. He has come up the ranks at some pace and was officially promoted to the first team towards the end of last year.

While he featured in 26 first-team games last season, the 19-year-old failed to establish himself as a key figure in the squad. With two years remaining on his contract, Chelsea had initially planned for him to be part of Maresca’s squad next season.

However, George is seeking regular first-team football, something he is unlikely to find at Stamford Bridge. As a result, he is open to leaving, and the Blues have now agreed to let him depart on a temporary basis.

Chukwuemeka set to join Dortmund

Dortmund have emerged as a potential destination for the teenager who prefers playing out wide on the left but is capable enough to feature anywhere in attack. The German club are already in talks with Chelsea as they look to wrap up Carney Chukwuemeka’s signing.

The 21-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Dortmund and is keen on joining them on a permanent basis. The Blues have reduced their asking price to around £22 million, and the German club are now ready to meet their demands. The deal is considered done as all parties are on the same page.

Dortmund enquire about George

During those talks, Dortmund have also enquired about George’s availability as they seek more firepower in the final third, having sold Jamie Gittens to the London club. They have a great relationship with the Premier League giants and are hoping it could help them land the teenage attacking sensation.

The 19-year-old could certainly be interested in joining Dortmund, as they have a great track record of developing young players. Meanwhile, the German club will have much-needed depth in the final third for next season.
