Tottenham set to make decision on Tyrese Hall future amid Championship links

Tottenham will soon make a decision on whether to loan out teen sensation Tyrese Hall, amidst interest from the Championship.

Tyrese Hall is on the wishlist of multiple Championship clubs following his sensational performances for Tottenham’s youth side last season. While he certainly has a bright future, Spurs do have a decision to make regarding his future.

According to a report from Football Insider, the North London club will decide in the next 24 hours whether to loan out the 19-year-old midfielder. Thomas Frank already has a lot of quality options in his squad, and if he can’t hand the teenager enough minutes next season, they would prefer sanctioning a temporary departure.

Hall has been a part of the Tottenham youth setup since his childhood days. He has gone up the ranks at some pace and was promoted to their Under-21s last summer. While he is yet to make his professional debut, the teenager has made quite a name for himself with his impressive performances at the youth level.

Last season, he was involved in a total of 20 matches and ended up contributing towards 10 goals. While he prefers playing as a central midfielder, he is capable enough to feature in any role in midfield and can even chip in as a striker.

Hall could leave Spurs on a temporary basis

His performances haven’t gone unnoticed, as multiple Championship clubs are keen on acquiring his services. Hall was recently involved in a pre-season friendly fixture for the senior team. He featured for 13 minutes in their 2-2 draw against Wycombe Wanderers last month.

But the 19-year-old hasn’t travelled with the first team to Hong Kong, which suggests he is not yet ready to be a part of Thomas Frank’s plans. If the former Brentford boss isn’t certain about handing him minutes in the upcoming campaign, a loan move to the Championship could actually help his cause.

Regular first-team action in the second division could help his growth as a player, and Spurs are set to make a decision on his future within the next 24 hours. Hall is considered an integral part of their long-term plans; as a result, the North London club are only willing to listen to loan offers.
