The Red Devils are eager to bolster their first-team squad by signing a holding midfielder in the summer transfer window. However, Manchester United will unlikely sign the Dane in the summer transfer window due to Sporting CP’s asking price. The Primeira Liga champions want suitors to trigger the release clause worth €80 million in Hjulmand’s contract.
