Neom reach agreement with Marseille target Saïmon Bouabré

1

According to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Neom SC have reached an agreement on personal terms with AS Monaco’s Saïmon Bouabré (19). The midfielder has accepted a five-year contract with the Saudi Arabian club and will be rewarded with an extremely generous salary.

The teenager has made four appearances for his formative club, but with his contract expiring next summer, he wants to leave the club. A situation which led Monaco to block his involvement with the France U21s at this year’s Euro campaign. L’Équipe have previously reported that the club are unwilling to sanction his departure.

Olympique de Marseille had looked to capitalise on this situation and were recently reported to have made contact with Monaco over a transfer. However, it appears that the Saudi Arabian side have won the player’s favour; all that is left to do is to convince Monaco to sell.
