Jack Grealish open to London move, Tottenham ahead of West Ham United in chase
Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing 29-year-old English international Jack Grealish from Manchester City this summer.
According to a report by Give Me Sport, Jack Grealish is open to moving to London in the summer transfer window if an enticing opportunity presents itself. The Manchester City misfit is also ready to join Everton. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are vying for the English midfielder’s signature, with the former ahead in the battle of the London clubs.
Jack Grealish and his struggles
Jack Grealish has seen his stock plummet since joining Manchester City from Aston Villa in a record deal in August 2021. While the 29-year-old has shown flashes of brilliance, he has not been the game-changer he once was at Aston Villa and barely featured for Manchester City in the 2024/25 season.
Grealish managed only 1,521 minutes of game time across 32 appearances in all competitions while chipping in with three goals and five assists. The latest setback came after he missed Manchester City’s FIFA Club World Cup campaign, and a summer departure from the Etihad is on the cards. However, the Englishman has no shortage of suitors pursuing his signature, with Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United vying for his signature this summer.
A man in demand
Recent reports have pointed to Everton being ready to intensify the efforts to sign the English international from Manchester City. The Toffees have not been as active as David Moyes would have liked this summer, and the Scottish tactician wants a versatile attacker for his offensive unit. Grealish has thus emerged as a viable target for Everton, and he is open to moving to the Merseyside club.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Jack Grealish is understandable. While Mohammed Kudus has arrived from West Ham United this summer, Thomas Frank wants more creativity in the final third. In addition, Son Heung-min and Richarlison face an uncertain future at the North London club. So, the Manchester City misfit is an option worth considering for Tottenham.
As for West Ham, Kudus’s summer departure has opened up a creative void at the East London club. Grealish has thus emerged as a viable target, and the 29-year-old Englishman should be a like-for-like replacement for Kudus at West Ham. However, the Hammers are behind Tottenham in the battle among the London clubs, even though he is open to relocating to the capital.
In addition, the struggling English midfielder is open to joining Everton in the summer transfer window. With things hanging in the balance, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the Manchester City misfit.
