According to an update by French journalist Sebastien Vidal, Federico Chiesa is the subject of interest from Fenerbahce. However, the Liverpool outcast has ruled out a summer move to the Turkish club, as he wants to return to Serie A. AC Milan and Napoli are the front-runners to land the Italian international in the summer transfer window. However, a report by Calciomercato has suggested that Chiesa’s €7 million-a-year wages pose an issue.

Federico Chiesa and his struggles

Federico Chiesa was already struggling for consistency before joining Liverpool from Juventus last summer. However, the Genova native has hit a brick wall since moving to Anfield, with regular game time eluding him in his debut season with the Merseyside outfit.

The 27-year-old has yet to complete even 500 minutes of game time across 14 appearances for Liverpool, managing only two goals and two assists. However, Chiesa’s stock in the market remains high, particularly in his homeland, with AC Milan and Napoli among the prospective suitors vying for his signature heading into the summer transfer window.
