Crystal Palace keen on Cody Drameh move

Oliver Galsner’s Crystal Palace are interested in acquiring the services of Hull City defensive sensation Cody Drameh.

According to a report from Football Insider, Crystal Palace are keen on signing Cody Drameh, who is on the wishlist of multiple English clubs. The Eagles are looking for more depth at the back, and they believe the former Leeds star could help their cause.

During his time at the Yorkshire-based club, Drameh made a total of 10 appearances for the first team. While he did show a lot of promise, he failed to cement his spot in the starting XI.

After multiple loan spells in the Championship, he ended up joining Hull City on a permanent basis last summer. The 23-year-old full-back was involved in a total of 29 matches for his new club, and he even contributed towards two goals.

While injuries did trouble him, Drameh seems to be back at his best. He has been putting in some impressive performances in the pre-season, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Multiple English clubs are interested in his services.

Derby County even made a move at the start of summer to sign him. But their loan offer was turned down by the Tigers. While he still has two years left on his deal at Hull, he could be on the move this summer if the right offer arrives.

The Eagles want to sign Drameh

Premier League club Crystal Palace have also taken note of his performances and they are willing to invest in him. Oliver Glasner seeks more options at the back and feels the young right-back could prove to be a valuable addition to his team.

Hull will certainly find it difficult to keep hold of Drameh, as Palace have already made contact over a potential deal for the 23-year-old. They have the financial strength to make it happen, and an opportunity to return to the Premier League will certainly interest the former Leeds defender.
