Chelsea will reportedly look to sign 23-year-old English international Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa in a part-exchange deal in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Football Insider, Morgan Rogers is the subject of interest from Chelsea. The Blues are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a versatile attacker in the summer transfer window. So, the 23-year-old Aston Villa creative genius has emerged as a target for the West London outfit.

The West Midlands club would prefer to recoup around £100 million from the Englishman’s sale, even though they are reluctant to part ways with the highly-rated playmaker. However, Chelsea will aim to sweeten the deal after offering Tosin Adarabioyo and Nicolas Jackson plus cash to Aston Villa.

Morgan Rogers has established himself as one of the most exciting players in the Premier League since joining Aston Villa from Middlesbrough in February 2024. The move did not raise any eyebrows, but the 23-year-old has gone from strength to strength in the last 18 months at Villa Park.

Rogers has turned out over 50 times thus far for Aston Villa while chipping in with 17 goals and 16 assists.
