Arsenal have reportedly secured a broad agreement to sign 27-year-old Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze in the summer transfer window.

According to an update by French journalist Sebastien Vidal, Andrea Berta has decided to go all-in to sign Eberechi Eze, and Arsenal have agreed to pay £30 million upfront for the Crystal Palace playmaker. They are now looking to negotiate the payment structure for the remainder of the fee.

Crystal Palace want to receive the remainder of the fee within two years, and it will be interesting to see if Arsenal agree to that. The English international has a £68 million release clause in his contract, and Arsenal have no problem paying that if the payment structure is feasible.

The 27-year-old deserves to play at a higher level, especially after delivering the FA Cup for Crystal Palace last season. Moving to Arsenal could be ideal for him. The Gunners could provide him with the platform to fight for Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League.
