Manchester United closely monitoring Dan Sinate

Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Angers SCO defensive sensation Dan Sinate ahead of a potential move.

According to a report from The Sun, Manchester United are interested in acquiring the services of Dan Sinate. The Red Devils are closely monitoring the young left-back ahead of a potential transfer in the future.

Sinate was a part of the AS Monaco and Deportivo Alaves youth setups back in the day. In search of a prominent role, he joined Angers at the start of 2025. While he started with their B team, the 19-year-old full-back has been promoted to their first team.

While he is yet to make his professional debut, the teenager has already caught the attention of multiple top clubs with his impressive performances at the youth level. He was one of the standout performers for Mali’s Under-20s at this year’s Maurice Revello Tournament.

He prefers playing as a left-back but is capable enough to feature in the heart of the defence as well as in the midfield. His dribbling, positioning, technique and ball control have put him on the radar of Manchester United.

While Ruben Amorim is fully focused on revamping his team this summer after a disastrous 2024/25 campaign, he also has an eye on the future. He wants to bring in a new left-back who can take over from Luke Shaw in the years to come.

Manchester United will continue to monitor Sinate

Sinate’s performances have impressed United scouts, and they would like to sign him for the long run. However, they are is no rush to push for his signature. The Red Devils are all set to track his progress in the upcoming season and will make a decision based on that.

They would ideally make a move for him next summer or in the winter transfer window at the earliest. If Sinate does end up signing for United, he would be joining fellow Mali international Sekou Kone at Old Trafford.

While his contract at Angers runs until the summer of 2029, they will find it very difficult to keep hold of such a talented defender for long.
