Juventus plot Rasmus Hojlund-Jadon Sancho double swoop

Juventus have explored the idea of a double swoop from Manchester United as they have added Rasmus Hojlund to their list alongside Jadon Sancho.

According to United In Focus, Juventus have reportedly explored the idea of taking not one but two flops from Manchester United. The Bianconeri have held talks for Jadon Sancho, but it appears they might be interested in unwanted striker Rasmus Hojlund too.

Manchester United have a tall order when it comes to offloading several of their high-profile stars. There’s a ‘bomb squad’ on the sidelines, which comprises players who are not part of Ruben Amorim or the club’s plans going forward. They have already allowed Marcus Rashford to join Barcelona on loan, and are in the process of offloading others.

One of the big tasks for the Red Devils is to find a resolution for Jadon Sancho amid the player entering the final year of his deal, and they are keen to cull his high wages. Juventus have held concrete talks for the winger, with reports stating a deal could be inching closer.

Manchester United are open to reducing their asking price for the English winger, which may allow Juventus to offer Sancho close to the wages he desires. Juventus have now explored the idea of signing Rasmus Hojlund alongside Sancho in a move that could allow the Red Devils to offload not one but two flops.

Manchester United are already in the market searching for a new striker as Amorim does not want to continue with Hojlund. The Danish striker had links with Inter Milan before, although the move has stalled since with the Nerazzuri unable to agree on the demands placed by the English side.

Why are Juventus interested in Rasmus Hojlund

AC Milan are also interested in Hojlund, but the admiration from Juventus may seem baffling, but there are circumstances in the background that may make them consider a move. The Bianconeri are still undecided about Randal Kolo Muani, despite the Frenchman being keen on staying. They are also ready to offload Dusan Vlahovic, as they will need a new striker to play alongside new signing Jonathan David.

Any move for Hojlund will depend on Manchester United’s asking price, with the English giants reportedly keen to recoup a chink of the money they invested in the Dane. Hence, there are some challenges ahead for Juventis in their pursuit of the Danish attacker, although they could potentially conclude a move for Sancho soon.
