Tyrese Noubissie set to join RC Strasbourg

Manchester United will not land 16-year-old French youth international Tyrese Noubissie, with the Manchester City wonderkid on the verge of joining RC Strasbourg.

According to an update by French journalist Sebastien Vidal, Tyrese Noubissie is the subject of interest from Manchester United. The Red Devils never shy away from the opportunity to sign highly-rated prospects, and they have been keen on signing the 16-year-old Manchester City wonderkid in the summer transfer window.

However, the Livingston-born midfield sensation has snubbed Manchester United, as he has decided to join RC Strasbourg in the summer transfer window. The “talented midfielder has been won over by the BlueCo project”, and it will not be surprising to see him moving to Chelsea in future.

Who is Tyrese Noubissie?

Tyrese Noubissie is the latest highly-rated prospect to rise in prominence in Manchester City’s highly-acclaimed youth division. The fast-fabled-becoming academy has produced many sought-after prodigies in the past decade, and a few have broken into the first-team squad at the Etihad.

However, many have left Manchester City to secure a quicker pathway to first-team football. Noubissie will be the latest prospect to decide to exit the Premier League club, and he will move to France to continue his youth career despite recent links with Manchester United.

Tyrese Noubissie has been with Manchester City since August 2023, having spent his formative years until then with Leicester City. The Scotland-born midfielder is a versatile prospect who can play as a box-to-box midfielder and a holding midfielder. After making an impression in age-group football in England, he has piqued the attention of several well-known clubs across Europe.

Manchester United snubbed

Manchester United’s interest in Tyrese Noubissie is hardly surprising. The Red Devils always keep an eye out for the most highly-rated prospects in the world. Manchester United’s reputation for handing regular game time to youngsters graduating from the academy also helps them land young prodigies.

However, Noubissie will snub Manchester United to join RC Strasbourg in the summer transfer window. The “talented midfielder has been won over by the BlueCo project”. So, while he will join the Ligue 1 club in the coming days, it will not be surprising to see him moving between BlueCo clubs, specifically Chelsea.
