Leandro Trossard has informed Arsenal of his exit desire, Bayern Munich keen

Leandro Trossard is open to leaving Arsenal to take up a new challenge with Bayern Munich, the latest to show an interest.

According to TBR, Leandro Trossard has reportedly expressed his desire to leave Arsenal and take up a new challenge in his career. The Gunners are potentially looking to replace the Belgian and are demanding £20 million for his sale, as Bayern Munich becomes the latest club to show an interest.

Arsenal have had a stellar summer window, and by the end of this week, they could potentially announce their sixth signing. The Gunners are focused on strengthening their attacking setup, which does put a few of their current stars in danger of losing their place.

Despite there being talks of a contract extension as recent as May, Leandro Trossard is at the forefront of this discussion, following the agreement for Noni Madueke and the potential of signing Rodrygo later in the summer. The Belgian, 30, is still not seen as a regular starter, but did make the most appearances, 56, compared to other outfield players across all competitions.

His future has been called into question, and the report now states Trossard has reportedly expressed his desire to quit Arsenal. The club are demanding £20 million to sell him, with the Belgian already into the final year of his deal at the Emirates.

He could have potentially left for Saudi Arabia back in January, but a major attacking injury crisis at the club may have prevented a potential exit. However, this summer, he’s ready to quit the Gunners for a new challenge, as Fenerbahce were recently interested.

Bayern Munich are keen on Leandro Trossard

Bayern Munich are the latest to join the race for Trossard, with the German giants viewing the £20 million Arsenal star as a viable option to strengthen their attack. The main objective is to replace Leroy Sane, who has joined Galatasaray, although Trossard may not be their primary target.

Bayern Munich were keen on Gabriel Martinelli earlier, but Arsenal were uninterested in selling the Brazilian. They are also keeping tabs on Luis Diaz’s situation, while Christopher Nkunku is also seen as a viable option. However, with Trossard available, the Bavarians could view Trossard as a cost-effective target and potentially make the move if the conditions suit them.
