Thomas Frank reportedly wants Tottenham to sign 21-year-old English international Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.

Adam Wharton is one of the best young players in the Premier League, and he is valued at £80 million as per Give Me Sport. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can afford to pay that kind of money for the young midfielder. It is no secret that they need more quality in the middle of the park, and the 21-year-old would significantly improve their midfield.

Joining a Champions League club would be quite exciting for the Englishman as well. He will be eager to test himself at a higher level, and Tottenham could provide him with that opportunity. Spurs are looking to build a squad for the future, and signing the Crystal Palace whizkid would be a wise decision. He has the attributes to develop into a top-class player.

Tottenham need midfield depth
