Le Havre AC have announced the arrival of goalkeeper Mory Diaw (32) from Clermont Foot on a two-year contract. The Senegalese international (two caps) joins a side looking to maintain their Ligue 1 status for a third consecutive year.

Diaw has significant experience in the French top flight from his time with Clermont. The goalkeeper was brought in to the side following the club’s first-ever season in Ligue 1, and he became the first-choice goalkeeper in the following two seasons.

Following Clermont’s relegation to Ligue 2 at the end of the 2023/24 campaign, Diaw requested to leave the club. There was interest but no movement, and Diaw remained with Les Lanciers until the winter window, where he was loaned out to Rodez AF.

Diaw has finally secured a permanent transfer away from Clermont, who are set to play their football in Ligue 2 next year after they managed to escape a relegation battle that saw them compete in the relegation/promotion playoff with US Boulogne CO.
