Bayern Munich keen on Marcus Rashford, Manchester United expecting low offers
Bayern Munich are loosely interested in a move for Marcus Rashford, with Manchester United not expecting big offers to come in for the winger.
According to CF Bayern, Marcus Rashford is a player of interest to the likes of Bayern Munich. The English attacker is for sale in the summer, with the Bavarians considering him as an option to replace Leroy Sane, however, Manchester United could struggle to get their desired price for the homegrown star.
Marcus Rashford’s future could yet become a big talking point in the media should Manchester United fail to find the right buyer. There are plenty of factors that make life difficult for the Red Devils to offload the homegrown star, which includes his high wages as well as the attached asking price.
Manchester United are already struggling to offload their high earners with Rashford at the forefront of that problem. However, the club are expecting a few issues along the way, with Football Insider suggesting they could see clubs come in with low offers compared to their asking price.
Rashford continues to dream of joining Barcelona, although the possibility of the Catalans paying the £40 million asking price as well as matching it with reasonable wages seems remote. A loan move could be an option, something Newcastle United are already exploring.
Hence, one might expect a decision on Rashford to drag until late in the window, as clubs may not pay what’s needed to sign the versatile Manchester United player. There’s one club that is showing an interest, as Bayern Munich are keen, but Rashford is not their priority option.
Bayern Munich keen on Marcus Rashford
Bayern Munich are keen to replace the departing Leroy Sane and have earmarked a few names as their preferred targets including Rashford. However, the winger is not seen as a priority the Bavarians are also keen on Luis Diaz as well as Gabriel M Martinelli, although the latter is unlikely to leave Arsenal.
Hence, there are considerable doubts about whether Bayern will make a move for the versatile Manchester United player. Moreover, the asking price as well as his high wages will be seen as something of a. bother by the Bavarians, however, one cannot rule out the possibility of a late move if the requirement is still ongoing then.
