According to a report by Give Me Sport, Juventus will look to sign Nayef Aguerd in a swap deal involving Daniele Rugani in the summer transfer window. The Serie A giants are eager to bolster their defensive unit by signing a centre-back. So, the West Ham United outcast has emerged as a target for the Bianconeri.

However, the Hammers do not want to sign Rugani in a swap deal involving Aguerd in the summer transfer window. Instead, West Ham United will prioritise “a cash exit” for the 29-year-old Moroccan international after he returns from a loan spell with Real Sociedad.

Daniele Rugani and his struggles

Daniele Rugani has endured one of the most underwhelming careers in Italy since breaking into the first-team squad at Juventus. A native of Lucca, the 30-year-old spent most of his formative years with Empoli FC before graduating from the youth division at Juventus.
